Where are you looking? Look as far ahead as you can. Make sure you are aware of other road users around your vehicle.
What are you thinking? Is that pedestrian going to step out onto the road? Are the lights going to change? Is that car going to pull out in front?
What are you going to do? If you see something, you need to do something. Perhaps coming off the gas to start to slow just in case? Maybe moving away from the edge of the kerb? Perhaps getting ready to stop?
