If you are struggling to learn to drive a manual car then why not try an automatic? You do not have to worry about using the clutch or changing gears which for some learners can be a game changer. Learning to drive in an automatic car is still challenging but getting rid of the clutch and gears means learning to drive becomes achievable.

Learning to drive can be challenging. Do any of these feelings apply to you? If they do, I will do my best to support you to learn to drive.

Learning to drive can be challenging. You may be feeling anxious or very nervous. However, you are not alone because I will support you to succeed.

Driving lessons are at your pace in a supportive and safe environment. You will learn how to safely move off and stop the car. You will drive on different types of road and experience different driving conditions. Learning how to safely deal with junctions, hazards and other road users. You will also learn how to safely manoeuvre the car.

I only use Rotherham Driving Test Centre for learner driving tests.

I am based in Rotherham. Areas of Rotherham I cover include: Bramley, Wickersley, Maltby, Hellaby and Ravenfield. I maybe able to cover other parts of Rotherham depending on my diary and availability.

Automatic driving lessons delivered by me are at an hourly rate of £40.

Training is delivered in my automatic car.

I have over 20 years experience as a driving instructor. I also have a very strong advanced driving background.

In 2017 I attended the QEF Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for disabled people - Teaching People with Disabilities to Drive. I have also attended a Disability Awareness Course delivered by North East Drive Mobility in Conjunction with Driving Mobility in 2021. I am also a member of Disability Driving Instructors.

I completed the Road Safety GB Ageing Driver Approved Driving Instructor Course in 2022.

I have also completed the Disability Driving Instructors ADI Training Programme, Disabilities and Medical Conditions and Specific Educational Needs in 2023. I have also attended the Disability Driving Instructors in car training day at RDAC Solihull in 2023.

In 2024 I completed the Disability Driving Instructors ADI Training Programme for Neurodiversity and Anxiety, and Practical guide to Anxiety.

Everyone one of us is different. For example, we all learn differently, at different paces and have our own learning and support needs. I will do my best to work with you to support your learning.

Learning to drive, or having the confidence to drive, gives us independence and freedom to go where we want and when.

I am very patient and supportive and can help you to reach your driving goals.
