It is ok to feel nervous when you are learning to drive. You are learning new skills.

It is ok to feel to feel that you will never be able to learn to drive. It takes time to learn new skills. Do not put yourself under pressure. It takes as long as it takes to learn.

Everyone one of us is different. We learn at different paces and have our own skills sets. Do not compare yourself to others.

It is ok to make mistakes because this is how we learn. Every mistake is a learning opportunity.

It is ok to feel that you will never be able to control the car. Learning to drive is complex, involves learning new motor skills, ways of thinking and doing. Over time this becomes easier. Eventually, you will be able to drive without thinking about what do you need to do.

It is ok to feel that you will never be able to complete the reverse exercises because over time, with practice, you will be able to. You do not need to be perfect. Just safe.

It is ok if other road users frighten you. As you become more comfortable with driving you will learn how to effectively manage other road users to keep you safe.

It is OK to feel anxious. When you are learning new skills is it natural to feel some anxiety. However, try not to let how you are feeling stop you from learning to drive because you can do it!
