Rotherham Approved Driving Instructor Part 1 Theory Test Training
Diversity. Disability. Equality and Inclusion.
Everyone Welcome!
Are you finding it challenging to study for your DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Part 1 theory test? Do you keep failing the test? Do you need some extra support? I can help you to prepare.
I can provide you with one to one online support to help you study for your ADI Part 1 theory test and to better understand the theory you are learning.
Sessions are one to one using Zoom. You can practice answering theory questions or developing your hazard perception technique. Perhaps you just need a confidence booster to put you on the right track or to provide you with some structure to help you to prepare more effectively.
I can help you to understand the questions and encourage you to develop techniques to help you to succeed.
Online theory test preparation is available to support any Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) with their ADI Part 1 Theory Test.
Online theory sessions are at your pace in a supportive and safe environment.
I like to teach people of all skills and abilities.
I like to teach people with neuro diversity, learning differences and specific educational needs (SEN).
I like to teach nervous and anxious learners.
“Confidence, knowledge and success.”
You can find out more information about the ADI Part 1 Theory Test by clicking here.
You can study for your ADI Part 1 as a standalone. However, have you considered the benefits of studying for all three of the ADI qualifying examinations at the same time? Click here for more information about the training options I provide.
Warning
Booking your ADI Part 1 test should not be a problem because it is administered by a third party. However, at this time booking ADI Part 2 and 3 tests is challenging due to the lack of tests being made available by the DVSA.
You need to be aware that you may find it difficult to book both ADI tests within two years of passing your theory test. However, I am hopeful this will change in the near future with more test dates being made available due to the ongoing scrutiny of the DVSA waiting times.
Do your research before committing to and paying upfront for training courses.
READ THE TRAINING CONTRACT YOU ARE BEING OFFERED AND UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE BUYING INTO!
What will happen if you do not pass your Part 3? What happens if you cannot book your Part 3 within two years of passing your theory? What are the financial penalties you will face? What are your obligations under the contract you have signed? What happens if you discover becoming an ADI is not for you and you want to walk away. Can you walk away without penalty?
If you are signing up for a franchise does it include a supply of pupils? How many over what period of time? What happens if no pupils are provided to you? What happens if you cannot find your own pupils are you are stuck paying an expensive franchise fee but do not have the number of customers you need to pay the franchise fee and your day to day business and living costs?
If you are not being made aware of all of the above by your potential training company before you pay upfront and sign a legally binding contract ask yourself why?
As a Potential Driving Instructor (PDI), there are national organisations you can join to support your development within the driver training profession.
Have you considered joining one of the national driving instructor organisations such as the Driving Instructors Association https://www.driving.org/ or MSA GB https://msagb.com/ or ADINJC https://www.adinjc.org.uk/
You could phone their help lines and ask advice about training providers and understanding the training contract you are being offered. You could ask for their advice and guidance about training providers and what pitfalls to avoid.
Cost: One-hour Zoom theory sessions are £30.
