I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor in 2005 and have continued to develop my knowledge, qualifications and coaching skills since then.

ADI trainer experience and qualifications

I am a Grade A Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor and a DVSA Registered Fleet Driver Trainer for Category B vehicles.

I hold the RoSPA National Diploma in Advanced Driving Instruction, with all parts passed with distinction, the City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Teaching and Training, and the BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching for Driver Development.

I have also completed specialist disability and mobility-related training and have experience teaching people with different educational needs and learning differences.

One-to-one ADI training approach

My aim is to help you build a strong foundation without overwhelming you. You do not need to learn everything about being an ADI all at once. I will help you develop the knowledge, driving skills, instructional ability and confidence needed to progress towards qualification.

Training can include in-car sessions, online Zoom support, email support and bespoke help focused on the part of the ADI process you are working on.

Support after you qualify as a driving instructor

I am here to support you from the start of your training through to post-qualification development. I can also provide basic business mentoring and explain what you need to know if you want to set up your own driving school.

I love being a driving instructor. I have always been interested in driving, and I enjoy teaching, coaching and supporting people. I particularly enjoy helping learners with different needs and those who may be struggling to learn.
